New Purchase

Here is our purchase of Bunk Beds! We actually got them for a great deal! Tonight will be the first night with Logan and Raylie sleeping in the same room. We will see how it goes. They already love the beds and we can't keep them off of them! We are going to use the other room as a toy room until the baby needs it which won't be until October or so. This will give us long enough to see if this arrangement will work or not.
Next week I get to go to my 20 week doctors apt and they are doing an ultrasound. So if the baby corporates we will be able to find out what we are having...to make Josh and Logan happy. I would be fine with not finding out...I'm not as anxious to this time because I have one of each. Logan desperately wants a brother, but with the history of my family it will most likely be a girl so I keep trying to tell him that it could be a girl. I will also post a bellie picture.

Catching up on December!

This is a long post! I much needed to play catch up with all of the events that went on in December! I will first start off with the newest addition to the Isom family. Joshs sister Heather had a cute baby girl in October! She is a very good baby! I was able to spoil here while we were in Las Vegas. She is only 2 1/2 months but she is an excellent smiler!
This is the Great Snowfall in southern Ut! All but the last picture are of the snow that fell in Leeds at my parents house! The last one is me trying to build a snowman at our house with the little bit of snow that we got.
For Christmas this year we were in Las Vegas with Josh's family. We all had a great time! Here are some pictures of what we did on Christmas Day!
On Christmas Eve we open new pajamas! Logan got Iron Man and Raylie got "Frosty the Froman." She is becoming quite the independent monster....She had to put her pants on herself and pull them up as far as they would go! No, she really isn't that skinny.
Logan had a HULK birthday this year. We just did a small party but he still had a great time and he LOVED the cake that Josh and Michelle (Logans aunt) made. I think it turned out great!
These are the pictures I took of the kids the Sunday before Christmas. They were being very cheesey so I got some great ones!
So we were able to see Santa a couple times this year. Our clubhouse had Santa come and Logan jumped at the chance to sit on his lap and tell him what he wanted. Raylie talked about telling Santa what she wanted and then once we were up there she wouldn't let go of me! The second time we saw Santa was at Logans preschool! Santa made a special trip to sing and hand out pictures and candy canes!
Whew you made it! Congrats...I am now feeling a lot better so hopefully I can keep up on the blogging. This little one has sure made me sick. I now know what morning or in my case all day sickness is like...NO FUN! Glad it is over with. Now I am at the fun stage were I am feeling the baby move around (my favorite) and watching my middle expand!

Gingerbread Houses 2008

Here is our tradition of making gingerbread houses! The kids LOVED it! Raylie and Logan each got a side of the roof to put M & M's on....Logan did a great job! Raylie only put the RED ones on because she loves RED. She would put one on and then swipe the frosting off with a little fast finger! We had a fun time but were missing dad because he was home study for finals!
Raylie had a little too much SUGAR! Well I guess Raylie and Sharise had a little TOO MUCH sugar!!

BOYS!!!

What does a 15 POUND bag of potatoes and two four year old boys = TROUBLE!
I just bought a new bag of potatoes yesterday. Logan and his friend were outside playing for a little while and come inside and say, "Hey mom we ate all the potatoes, but two!" I didn't think much, thought they were pretending to eat potatoes...but they said it again even more excited. So I went to the garage and find my potato bag EMPTY...but the two! I said, "What did you do with the potatoes?!" Nothing...so I repeat myself about three times and they take me to the back yard and nothing. I don't see any potatoes. So I ask again, "What did you guys do with the potatoes?!" Finally they point to the brick wall. I climb up and look over the wall into our neighbors yard and there is my 15 pounds of POTATOES all over there yard! So I get the boys and we walk to our neighbors and ask permission to pick up the potatoes from their yard! I made the boys pick them up by themselves!
Luckily I had already taken some out for dinner or the friend would have been sent home and Logan would have been in big trouble!!! Boys, Boys, Boys!!!!!

Thanksgiving

We went to Salt Lake for Thanksgiving this year! It was great! We were able to spend time with the whole family, except of course our Elder. We ate at Grandma H's house, this was her last year to cook and I am going to miss it! We then went to my aunt and uncles house and had more pie! It was great to spend time with family!

Before eating turkey Josh and the kids went outside to look at Grandpas greenhouse. We were able to bring home some cabbage and sweet potatoes! Grandpa has a great green thumb. The middle picture proves that Logan and Raylie really do LOVE each other! I just have to look at that picture to remind me!
After eating a great turkey dinner we had a little time to work off all of those calories by arm wrestling! I found out that right handed Danette and I are equally STRONG! We all found out that our mom can kill all of us in arm wrestling...and not to mess with Aunt Kathy (moms sister) who whomped mom! I hope I can be that strong when I grow up!!!
Just some random faces relaxing after eating turkey and the arm wrestling mania!
On our way home we stopped at the Apple Farm and saw this tractor. The kids wanted to climb on it so we took a picture!
