Shingles=OUCH

For the last two weeks I have been sick with shingles that started on my back and then to the front of my chest right where the bra strap goes and down my arm! Just take the pain of a sunburn and multiply that by about 100 and that is the pain of shingles..not to mention that they also itch and you can't itch because it KILLS! So after a round of Valtrex and Loratab I am beginning to feel much better.

What the?!

I can't believe that Jason made it another week and that he wasn't even in the bottom TWO?! I knew Brooke's time was coming, but I really liked her and I can't stand Jason so I was hoping that he would go before her! What is wrong with America! There must be a lot of dred head lovers out there!

18 months!!!

Raylie went in for her 18 month check up! I can't believe she is that old! Here are her stats:
HT: 31 1/2 inches 75%
WT: 23 lbs 10 oz 50%
She is such a fun little girl our family defiantly is blessed to have her here! We love you!

A Hobby

So this is my little hobby. I started crocheting my senior year. I had high hope to make my soon to be neice or nephew a blanket. Well it took a lot longer than expected and little Josh was born before I got it finished. I decided it was a little to girly for him anyway, so I kept it. The second one is the blanket I made for Logan's blessing. I decided to use it for each child's blessing day. The third I made for Logan. The fourth I made when I found out I was pregnant with a girl. The fifth I just finished around Easter for a neighbor who is having her first girl, but the fourth child. The last one I just finished tonight. For a special little boy that is going to be joining our family in May. (For those of you that don't know my lil sis is pregnant, not me)! Surprise Danette!
This is something I enjoy and hope to get better at.

Bread n Butter?

The other night I told Logan he could get himself a piece of bread while I put Raylie to bed. When I came out of her room, I heard Logan say, "Mom look I put butter on my bread all by myself!" He was so proud of himself. I was a little hesitant to go in the kitchen and see, but I busted up laughing when I looked at the butter with bread! I told him good job but we needed to scrape some off so that he could taste the bread. What a little nut. I had to take a picture because he really did do a great job, he didn't get any on the counter!
