Our Vacation

So this past week we went to a place called Eden, Ut. We stayed in some condos way up on top of the mountains. We had a rough start. We left our house Sunday and we planned on stopping by Des's house so I could feed Lucas. Josh dropped us off and then went to gas up. When he pulled up to the pump he had a VERY hard time stopping. He checked the brake fluid and it was all GONE! We had made it all the way up to Salt Lake. Oh the blessings of prayer. He went to Auto Zone to get brake fluid. He got back to Des's house and got under the yukon to find a HOLE in the brake line. So we ended up spending the night there, so in the morning we could take it to Big O and get it fixed. Since it was the St.George Big O's fault, when they put new shocks on in February they didn't check to make sure they weren't rubbing, Big O paid for the repair! Yet another blessing of prayer and paying tithing!
While the yukon was getting fixed we borrowed my grandmas car to go to the Oquirrah Temple Open House. What a beautiful temple. The only problem was it was the last week and it was PACKED. The kids didn't have as much fun as I thought they would.
Then after the yukon was done we headed up Ogden Canyon to the condos. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub that night!


On Tuesday we went to Lagoon! The kids were so GREAT! Even Lucas! They all LOVED the rides and are asking when can we go again!


On Wednesday everybody, but Lucas and I, went to Pineview Resevior. Logan LOVED playing in the water and Raylie LOVED feeding the seagulls. Josh LOVED the wave runners, it was his first time on some! He got a wicked sunburn though...it looked like he still was wearing a life jacket.


We took our time going home on Thursday. It was a GREAT vacation! Everybody was there but Danettes' family...she was playing in Colorado with Chad's family! We sure missed them!
